Oyen wanted to visit the Arctic Cathedral (Cathedral of the Arctic Sea) located on the other side of the bridge in the Tromsdalen Valley.
Taxis were expensive so we took the public bus. It was only a short ride, like two kilometers.

The Arctic Cathedral, also known as Tromsdalen Church or Tromsøysund Church. and nicknamed the Ishavskatedralen was built in 1965

We met Gree, a resident of Tromso, who’s one and only child is coming home soon from attending a university in Singapore.

I’ve seen the most intricate and grandiose churches in other countries. The Arctic Cathedral looks too simple in comparison.
