I woke up in the middle of the night and turned to my left. I placed my right arm on top of the Holy Bible which is always on my bed. Biglang nakapa ko merong coin on top of the bible. Hmmm, where did this come from?
With my eyes still closed, my right arm searched for my ducky alkansya, Oyen’s gift last Christmas. Parang gumaan. It seemed lighter.
Tekkaaa, mukhang merong sumusungkit sa coins ko ah. How did the one peso coin get out? The next morning, I emptied all the coins and transferred them to my teddy bear alkansya.
