The majority of the FPG Insurance tour mates arrived from the airport looking tired and weary. hahaha traveling really wears you off. The Turkish flight to Istanbul from Manila was turbulent meron pa kasing bagyo. When the flight is not smooth it’s really draining ones energy and when the plane is too shaky, then it could frighten the wits out of the nerbyosa and nerbyoso passengers’ minds. I think more than the physical, it’s more of the psychological anxiousness that is more exhausting.
Edmund liked the jacaranda trees that lined the avenues. The trees have purple blue corolla that look stunning.
Our local tour guide’s name is Margarita.
We started our bus tour at almost noon.
When it’s this hot it’s no fun to travel.

We were only given by Margarita about 15 minutes to take photos. I wanted to buy a table cloth but they were already on the bus.
If I were the tour guide, I would prepare printed materials for distribution to my tourists / customers. Just a simple one page print detailing the places we were about to visit, to drive by, to see. The tourists would have a better appreciation of the places they visited if they have a short literature of where they’ve been and what they’ve seen. Even if we listened to the guide, there was no way that we would be able to remember everything. Gaya nito. Sino ba itong estatwa na nakatayo sa tuktok?
We got off the bus and walked to the restaurant for lunch.

We stopped occasionally to take photos. This brass statue is a tribute to the workers who installed the cobbled stones/ marble stones on the sidewalks.
The original facade of old buildings must be preserved. Only the interiors and back could be totally demolished and replaced.
