I recently discovered the big Ayala Mall in Solenad, Sta, Rosa, Laguna. It’s far from Manila but accessible when I go to and from Tagaytay.

Last Wednesday, I went to look for a cupboard at the Lucina Home store on the second floor. They didn’t have what I was looking for but glad I went. I found this pulchritudinous image of St. Francis made of some kind of stone-like heavy material.

A—–“Miss, magkano ito?”
Sales girl—–“two four”.

A—-=”May discount ba?”

Sales girl—-“1,800”

A—–“Saan ito gawa?”

Sales girl—–“Imported”

A—–“China?”

She didn’t know.   Basta daw lahat dun imported.

Sales girl——“Sige 1,500″

No one could help me carry the item. I called up my driver but he hasn’t parked yet because parking was full. I went down to the ground floor to drink lemonade. I gave my driver again a call. He was able to park so I told him to go to the second floor. I went back to the store but the sales girl took her lunch break and in her place were two guys manning the store.
When I asked how much the image of St. Francis was, one guy asked me”magkano ang sabi sa’yo?”
I said P1,500. He said yun na talaga ang price pero sige P1,400 na lang.

The flowers are not included in the sale. It’s okay will just put something else.
I will hang this in the patio.
