Kwentong BART life

1. Fifty young guys hopped on the BART train in Oakland and within seconds grabbed all belongings of the passengers and quickly hopped off the train.
No one was caught.

2. So many crazy people ride the BART train. Someone told me all the crazy people are here. Homeless people also sleep on the train. People talk to themselves, scream at passengers, they do imaginary acts. Scary.

Suicide is not the route

3. I’ve seen a scantily dressed young woman in her 20s get on the train. She hid behind the seats and changed her outfit while the train was moving. When she emerged, she was even less covered. Her super micro mini skirt was not enough to cover her butt. She wore high-heeled leather boots up to her knees and a pair of fishnet stockings. Her blouse was not a blouse but rather a strip of fabric enough to cover the lower part of her exploding bosom.

4. Some women naman ride the train in very fashionable clothes and high heels, like this Asian woman, complete with a pretty hat and an LV bag same as mine.

5. A female executive lost her handbag to a male snatcher in Embarcadero. The police caught it on camera and the identity and whereabouts including the residence of the culprit in Sacramento are all known to the police but no arrests were made. The guy even ordered food delivery using the female executive’s account and yet the police didn’t bother to track him down.

The female executive went thru hell trying to prove to Bank of America that the withdrawals from her ATM and credit card purchases were not hers. She cancelled all her accounts and still, BoFA was calling her to verify information because someone was trying to access her ATM account. She was in Mexico when the bank called. It took her almost a year before she was able to find a senior bank officer who helped facilitate return of all her money that were scooped up by the snatcher. All $250,000. She was traumatized by her ordeal and now, she lives without a single credit card, no ATM / Debit card, and not a single bank account.

6. Because it would take several more stops before I reach the transfer station, I decided to take a nap or at least close my eyes to relax. When the train stopped, I was stunned by a woman screaming angrily. I looked up and there was this white lady, approximately 65 years old, who was screaming at the top of her voice. She was so mad at a younger woman whom I initially thought to be her daughter, but when I looked at her, she was Asian.

The white woman continued with her tirade. She charged at the Asian woman and I thought she was going to hit her. I moved away to avoid being accidentally hit. No she didn’t hit her but she continued yelling. The angry woman sat down away from the Asian but continued saying some things I couldn’t comprehend.

Ayun sya, the one on the right side

I asked the Asian woman, named Michelle, 33, what happened. She said the woman cut her path just as they were getting on the train. Michelle’s meeting up with her American husband in Oakland. She’s been to the Philippines in 2014 but hated the traffic. She stayed at a hotel near Mall of Asia because it was near the airport. They almost missed their flight because it took them more than two hours travel time from MOA to NAIA.

7. I took Uber to go to my sister’s house from the train station. nagulat ako pagbukas nung pinto, the driver looks very much like John Travolta. He said “John Travolta, is that good or bad?”
A—-“Of course that’s good. He’s a Hollywood superstar and multi-millionaire”.
Driver—-“I guess that’s good”.

John Travolta look alike

He is 30 years old and is married to a Filipina who was born in America and doesn’t speak Ilocano nor Tagalog but she cooks good pensit, adowbo, lompia and seynigang. They met in high school, he was 16 she was 14. He got her pregnant when he was 19. Her parents were divorced, her mom and dad both re-married and have their own families. Her grandparents were the ones who took care of her. Even while she was pregnant with their first child, she continued her studies thru college and subsequently becoming a registered nurse. They now have 3 daughters and hoping to have a boy. He said he is the only guy and he is outnumbered. He will start going to college this fall to take up computer science and would still drive the Uber on weekends and when he has no classes. He said everything that he is doing is for his family. He needs to up his income level in preparation for his children’s growing needs. Natutuwa ako sa kanya kasi love na love nya misis nya, first love. At saka masikap at masipag.
