No sleep and all ramen

I defied my husband’s suggestion to rent a car so I could have better mobility. I didn’t want to drive, park, drive, park. Throughout the day, I couldn’t go from place to place because I didn’t have a service car. And because of the 115 degrees FHARENHEIT temperature, I waded it out from 12-3 pm at some place cool and comfortable where I could also take an hour nap while seated on their lobby’s sofa without anyone bothering me or shooing me away.

This lobby doesn’t have a coffee shop but they have a free coffee corner and a water and cola vending machines.
I have a can of cookies I bought from CVS. It’s my lifeline to curb my hunger. And every time I ate a cookie, I thought about my kids when they were little. Cookies lang may pa-emote pa? Kasi I bought them this kind of cookies regularly as part of their munchies.

June 21 I woke up at 5:45 am and left the hotel at 6:30 am to be at my morning appointment at 7 am. June 22 I woke up at 6 am and left the Paris hotel at 7 am. On both occasions, I brought packs of ice (from my the hotel dispenser) to keep me cooler thru the hot sizzling Vegas day.
I go back to the hotel before 7 pm feeling exhausted. I would rest for two hours, wash-up, before going outside to get some late dinner and also to entertain myself.

I discovered a row of smaller stores in front of Ballys. I went back the second night. It was only a short walk from Paris.

Beginning on the first night (June 20), my tooth ache kept me awake for the first 3 hours at least (12 midnight to 3 am). The throbbing pain varied from moderate to ayyy super sakit. I couldn’t chew, It was hard to eat even soft food like steamed rice. I had to chew very slowly and kung pwede nga lang, lunok na lang ng lunok. I discovered I only brought one piece of Ponstan capsule from Manila. I took the medicine on the second night to stop the pain.

For my dinner, my best option was the ramen noodles again. Basta lunukin na lang.

I ordered the same thing as the first night, Karaage Miso Ramen. This time, I had an extra tofu for $1.50. It was hard to chew the chicken. Actually even the noodles. The simple up and down movement of my jaws, even at a slow motion speed, aggravated the toothache. Hayy kill joy naman ito. I couldn’t enjoy my food.
