I was at the clinic of Dr. Palafox in Cardinal when Edmund’s secretary called. My friend Letty Lugtu was at Ford EDSA and wanted to speak to me.
I spoke to Letty on the cellphone. She’s leaving the next day and she came to drop by her pasalubong. She said she’s been in town for two weeks. She attended a grand family reunion and a relative’s wedding.
Letty and family are based in San Diego. She repeated her long standing invitation for my family to visit and stay with them for a couple of days instead of at a hotel.
