Pieology & all Gender Restroom

January 12, 2020,  Sunday

I was totally unaware that it was a Sunday.  We didn’t go to mass.

Nyke and Oyen were both under the weather.   I was giving them Vitamin C to boost their body resistance.  The problem with these two,  if I don’t give them the tablets,  they will not initiate taking them.

Last full day for them to hang out since Nyke goes back to school the next day and Oyen flies back to Manila in a few days.

Meanwhile, I was able to convince my husband to accompany me to visit a house an hour drive a way to meet with Michael.    As soon as we entered the house,  Edmund said it smelled like the house we stayed before in San Leandro when Oyen was two years old. Edmund alone remembers the smell, I don’t. He said it’s the smell of an old house.

We were both starving so we stopped to eat pizza in Pieology.  We just had pizza two days ago and a few days before that.
He didn’t want us to share in one so we each had one whole piece.
E—-“Kaya mong ubusin yan. Manipis lang naman”.

Pielogy, husband's pizza

When I was asked what sauce do I want, my husband was the one who answered. Then the guy asked if I wanted garlic, my husband answered no. I wanted garlic, so I stopped him from deciding for me.
A—“Tart, order ko yan, huwag ikaw ang sumagot”.

We both couldn’t finish our pizzas, we took home four slices.

There was a Panda Express beside Pieology but we just had Panda Express the day before.

I am beginning to look and shape like a Panda.

Pieology changed their two toilets which used to be one for F and one for M, to mixed-use all-gender restrooms. Just as I have expected it, tulo-tulo ang sahig. There were drips around the toilet bowl. I was very careful not to step on the drips. I also avoided touching anything with my bare hands. I used the toilet paper to hold the lever, the faucet, the door.
I thought that was the bad part. What made me feel worst was when I got out of the toilet. There was a line, waiting for me to finish. And oh boy, puro sila boy. There were three men waiting outside and they were as surprised as I was. They looked so uncomfortable after they realized a woman was inside. I felt asiwa also. They all looked at the floor.
