Ricky Martin’s concert was held at the Park Theater in Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino. I’ve stayed at this hotel twice with Edmund but I didn’t reach this area where Park Theater is. I’ve only seen the lobby, the room of course, the buffet area and the hallway to Aria.
It’s across New York New York. I haven’t been inside NY NY.
Sayang, I am going to miss the concert of Bruno Mars scheduled on September 1 & 2, 2017 at Park Theater too.
The Uber driver wasn’t sure where to drop me off. I entered the side door leading to the casino floor. I asked a Filipino guy who was cleaning the area where the Box Office was.

I asked the guy at the box office if the concert would start on time. He said “he usually comes at 8:10 to 8:15. Hmmmm. There was some doubt in my mind but sige na nga. I’ll take his word for it.
I looked for my seat first. It’s Section 302 Row D seat 7. It was far from the stage. I remember telling the concierge to give me the closest to the stage as possible. She said I would be right on the center and third row from the standing area. I even asked her if the people standing would cover me when I am seated. She said no because I would be on the third ROW.
Ay mali. This is not the third row. This is the third section.
Those in the standing area would be the closest to the stage. They are actually surrounded by the stage. But I cannot keep standing for 2 hours or more.
The concert started late too. Beginning at 8:20 pm, the guy behind me started shouting— naiinip na siguro— “C’mon Recky, C’mon Recky”.
Recky Marten’s concert started at around 8:40 first with an AVP. We all screamed when he appeared naked on the screen, although nakatagilid may takip na tuwalya. Kilig to the bones, women, men, gay and guys, including me.
Eto nakaharang sa vista ko kaya I couldn’t help but notice them.
Napaka sweet nito. Maya’t-maya hinahalikan sa pisngi, sa gilid ng noo, sa ulo yung katabi nya.
Parang punung-puno ng pagmamahal dun sa lalaki.
