A silent prayer for my son

On my way to Pasong Tamo, I made a quick stop at the church in Guadalupe. I like coming here when I just wanted to say a silent prayer. Silent kasi walang tao, hindi maingay.

I prayed for my son’s guidance, safety, transformation towards maturity. I reminded (medyo demanding ano) his guardian angels to always keep an eye on him. To protect him from bad-meaning people. Edmund and I can only do so much to guide him. It’s up to him to learn the ropes of his own life, to protect himself from opportunists and be able to identify people who are brainwashing him and making him believe their lies to extract favors from him. We live in a jungle. There are good people and there are millions of bad individuals who are ready to pounce on anyone they think is a good target.
