Speed Shopping in Malaysia

I do speed shopping, and I am good at it.
With limited time to get myself a long sleeves long dress, I sneaked-out of the conference, on its second day, hailed a taxi, speed walked and shopped for an hour and a half at the KLCC Mall just below the Petronas Towers.

Pretty impressive, the mall is world-class

I paid RM10 from Shangrila to KLCC. I was hesitant to get-off the cab when I saw the big Louis Vuitton and Tiffany signs.   But the cab driver assured me there were women’s clothes inside the mall.  I told him I preferred made in Malaysia,  not from China or from Italy.

I controlled myself from entering in  the Bulgari boutique and in the other brand-named stores.

Except Prada, kasi I saw the hand-carry bag, eh parang I need a new one to replace my 15-18 year old Samsonite I bought in Selfridges.

It was toooo heavy, wala pang laman, ang bigat na maybe because of the leather. The price tag was heavier, at US$5,000 +-. Wag na yan. Kunwari ayaw ko kasi mabigat, yun pala kasi cannot afford.

Nice yung white, bagay sa uniform ng spa home service massage.

I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a dress here. Or maybe meron baka naman three thousand US dollars from Gucci.
The cab driver assured me there were clothes in the mall.

This Ralph Lauren bag is actually nice. It’s something I wouldn’t mind carrying around.

There, I could wear that to the Royal Dinner. How much? Never mind.

I found my pink Muslim dress from this store.

They gave me a 50% off from the dress, and 30% from the kamison, na hindi naman terno kasi brown. But there’s no color pink available and I didn’t have time to go to other stores.

How about matching pink shoes? Nope, must be closed toe.

I wished I had more time to try on stuff. I love flat sandals. I rarely wear heeled shoes.

I wished I could hang-around here longer to eat Nasi Lemak. This is RM12.30 at the airport.

I couldn’t resist going inside this I wanna Go Home store.

I had no more Malaysian ringgit, I exchanged $100.

Kung gusto mong merong taga tawag ng taxi, pay RM2. I regretted because it took them 10 minutes to get me a taxi, eh maraming mga nakapila dun sa tabing kalye, but not affiliated with them.

Regret na regret talaga ako kasi the taxi driver was on the phone the whole time, tila merong nililigawan. Tapos sa Sheraton hotel ako dinala, kaya instead of paying RM10, na doble tuloy, I had to pay RM20.
I told him I only paid ten going and now I was paying him double. Traffic daw kasi.
